Beth McLean Wiest, Manager / Alto

Beth is one of the founding members of OnCue, having joined in 1996. She has also been part of the group’s leadership since its inception.

Beth has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta, with a double major in Music and French. She has an extensive choral singing history dating back to 1985, when she was one of the first members of the Youth Singers of Calgary. During her post-secondary study, she also sang in the University of Alberta Mixed Chorus and played with the Faculty of Education Handbell Ringers. Beth also has a Diploma of Fine Arts in Kodàly Music Education from the University of Calgary.

Outside of OnCue, Beth remains deeply involved with the Youth Singers organization as Director of the Kidzxpress division, and in curriculum, policy and student leadership development. She enjoys her spare time with her husband, Reid, and their 2 sons.
