Chris Thompson, Tenor

Chris is an OnCue veteran, having been one of the group’s first members. He has an extensive choral singing history dating back to 1985, when he was one of the first members of the Youth Singers of Calgary, and has since had the privilege of performing professionally with a variety projects and artists including Sarah Brightman, Roch Voisine and Reba McIntyre. He maintains his involvement with Youth Singers today as one of the principal choreographers.

Outside of OnCue, Chris is the Entertainment Director at Calaway Park, Western Canada’s largest amusement park, and has had a part in writing and producing over 40 musical stage shows. His influence in this role has spread beyond Calgary as he serves on the Entertainment Committee for IAAPA (the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) and can be often seen travelling around the globe to do consulting and speaking for the theme park industry.
